Systems listed as NODES, but are NOT involved in Inter-BBS
Games must poll their uplink AT LEAST two (2) times a week.
Those systems that do not poll their host system over a 2 week (14 day) period
WILL be removed from the network,
if an explanation is not sent to the host prior to the polling lapse.
Systems listed as NODES, and involved in any Inter-BBS Games must poll
their uplink AT LEAST once (1) times a day.
Those systems that do not poll
their host system over a 2 week (14 day) period WILL be removed from the
network, if an explanation is not sent to the host prior to the polling lapse.
Systems listed as HOSTs/HUBs will poll their uplinks system AT
LEAST four (4) times a day.
Polling more often will result in a faster-paced network.
HUBs are responsible for activity of those systems under them.
HUBs that do not poll their uplinks
system at all over a 2 week (14 day) period WILL be removed from the network,
if an explanation is not provided to the League Coordinator prior to the polling lapse.
HOSTs/HUBs must carry ALL echos areas, and allow all data files for games
to be forwarded via their system to their downlinks.
There is one echo that MUST be carried by all participating systems area tagged BN_HQ.
This echo is used to disseminate traffic pertaining to admin issues,
such as bug reports and individual system problems. This is a SYSOP ONLY echo
and should not be accessable to your users. In addition, there are also echos areatagged
BN_BRE69, BN_BRE169, BN_FE169 etc. that are also available,
these areas are for player chatter, and problems in each league,
these echos are Moderated by the League Coordinators. These echos allow aliases
to keep to the flavor of the game. Additionally, you will need to place any
applications for the leagues in these echoareas, please do not use Netmail
for this purpose.
Sysops may not hold, delete or manipulate any network traffic
on their systems or recons in transit through their system.
This will be considered cheating and will be dealt with accordingly.
